Job Description:
The ServiceNow Developer will enhance and optimize an existing custom ServiceNow application, Contract Intake, which is used for capturing and managing contract-related data. This role focuses on improving the form design, workflows, and integration logic to ensure seamless interaction between ServiceNow and Costpoint through MuleSoft. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders and integration teams to deliver a robust, user-friendly solution that supports contract lifecycle management and financial system integration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enhance and configure the existing Contract Intake form in ServiceNow to improve usability and data validation.
- Develop and update ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI policies to support contract intake and approval processes.
- Implement and optimize integration between ServiceNow and Costpoint using MuleSoft APIs.
- Ensure accurate data mapping and transformation between ServiceNow and Costpoint for contract and financial records.
- Configure Service Catalog items and notifications related to contract intake and approvals.
- Validate integration points and troubleshoot issues with MuleSoft and Costpoint teams.
- Perform unit and integration testing for enhancements and integrations.
- Document technical designs and provide knowledge transfer to operations teams.
Required Skills:
- ServiceNow development (Workflows, Catalog, Scripting) – Advanced
- Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs – Advanced
- JavaScript Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting – Intermediate
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Request, Change, Access Management)
- Experience with MuleSoft integration – Intermediate
- Knowledge of contract management processes – Intermediate
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator – Required
