The journey begins here - with Global- a 1st Flagship Company, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Attendant.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to packing lists and distributing both paperwork and product to requester as needed .
• Staging materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
• Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for customer and department traffic. Maintain open fire lanes at all times.
• Assembling department orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves.
• Marking materials with identifying infor mation using appropriate method as delineated by Stand Operation Procedures (SOPS).
• Opening bales, crates, and other containers.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via GFM inventory listings.
• Assisting management during 10% monthly and 100% annual physical inventories.
• Prepares parcels for shipping. Will be proficient in preparation and packaging of tools, parts and equipment for shipment.
• Will handle weights up to 50 pounds, handled up to a distance of 100 feet.
• General housekeeping of warehouse area on a daily basis .
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as required .
• Adhere to all corporate core values, policies and procedures in the execution of all responsibilities.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Two (2) years' experience working in a Supply Warehouse .
• Should have significant knowledge of supply inventory procedures / policies . Ability to use Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel .
• Must have a current driver's license and meet the requirements of the company's Vehicle Safety manual.
• Must qualify as a Forklift Operator within a specified time period per Offer Letter .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five (5) years' experience working in supply or a warehouse, or equivalent military experience in Supply and Logistics.
