Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate transition of applications from monolithic architectures to microservices operating within hardened container environments
- Implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines supporting development, test, and production environments
- Integrate automated security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance controls into the SDLC
- Support containerization efforts using Docker and related orchestration technologies
- Deploy and sustain DevSecOps toolchains leveraging approved cloud-native platforms (OCI or equivalent)
- Guide development teams in adopting DevSecOps practices and secure coding standards
- Automate environment provisioning using infrastructure-as-code methodologies
- Support SAFe Agile ceremonies and release-on-demand cadence
- Contribute to DevSecOps transformation roadmap execution and modernization initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant DevSecOps or DevOps experience
- Experience implementing secure CI/CD pipelines and automated SDLC toolchains
- Experience deploying and operating workloads in cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker; Kubernetes preferred)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar)
- Experience integrating security testing tools into build and release processes
- Strong scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Must hold an active clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Oracle ERP or other enterprise financial systems
- Experience in DoD or federal environments
- Familiarity with STIG compliance and hardened cloud environments
- Experience operating within SAFe Agile frameworks
- DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification (Security+)
