This role operates within a SAFe 6 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and oversee enterprise CI/CD pipelines across development, test, and production environments
- Lead migration from monolithic applications to containerized and microservices-based architectures
- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code and automated environment provisioning in OCI (or comparable cloud platforms)
- Integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps), including automated scanning and compliance enforcement
- Establish release strategies, branching models, and deployment standards
- Implement monitoring, logging, and performance metrics to support operational stability
- Support SAFe Agile execution, including PI Planning, sprint cycles, and system demos
- Mentor and support junior members of the team
- Contribute to DevSecOps and AI/ML roadmap execution and modernization initiatives
- Ensure adherence to DoD security policies, documentation standards, and performance-based contract requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant DevOps experience
- Demonstrated experience designing and leading enterprise CI/CD implementations
- Experience deploying and operating workloads in cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure, or equivalent IaaS platforms)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker; Kubernetes preferred)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar)
- Experience implementing automated SDLC toolchains and test-driven development (TDD) practices
- Strong scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Cloud Service Provider (CSP) certification (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure, OCI)
- Must hold an active clearance
Preferred Qualification
- Experience supporting Oracle ERP or other enterprise financial systems
- Experience in DoD or federal environments
- Familiarity with STIG compliance and hardened cloud environments
- Experience operating within SAFe Agile frameworks
- DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification (Security+)
