Baer is looking for SAP EH&S SME for a 3 month Part-Time Federal Remote Project.

Title: SAP EH&S SME
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months - Part Time Hours
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Overview
Seeking an experienced SAP EH&S SME for a short-term federal project. The role focuses on implementing SAP S/4HANA EH&S solutions-especially Environmental Liability & Disposal (EL&D)-and supporting global template deployments with U.S. localization.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements workshops and support ERP design, build, testing, and implementation strategy
• Design and configure S/4HANA EH&S solutions aligned with business needs
• Develop value propositions for transformation initiatives
• Produce functional specifications and conduct gap analyses
• Provide training, knowledge transfer, and mentorship
• Support integration design, architecture reviews, and planning activities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years consulting or industry experience and 5+ years hands-on SAP EH&S configuration
• At least 3 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations (2019+)
• Experience with global template rollout and localization
• Strong stakeholder communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
• Aerospace & Defense or discrete manufacturing experience
• Value Stream Lead experience on U.S.-based S/4HANA deployments
• Expertise across EH&S configuration, solution architecture, functional design, training strategy, and roadmap planning
