Responsibilities:
  • Works as the Deputy CAM Manager for C-130 Aircraft Platform Program, C-130J, C-130H, WC-130H, LC- 130H) for the WSS(Weapon Support System) to maximize readiness by overseeing cost schedules and performance.
  • Process financial transactions, OOCs in SPERS system, assign roles within the new system, assist PMs with LRDR maintenance and processing, and submit Unfunded Requirements to AMC, provide updates and assist with other duties as needed.
  • Supports funding for 3 Air Logistic Commands: AD, AFRC, and ANG for 6 different risk categories
  • Responsible for the overall contract executions, funding requirements, interface with the three different ALCs, financial realignments, Out-of-Cycles requirements, financial transactions within CCARS and FRM, interface w/ Tinker and Robins Program Office and IPT teams, Finance Managers, CAM managers and others as assigned.
  • Fill in for CAM manager as needed, leads meetings and interfaces with all levels of leadership at Robins, AMC levels and HQ CAM POCs and other bases to provide program status, answer questions on various high taskers to include Congressional taskers.
  • Complete oversight and understanding of the entire LC-130, WC-130, C-130H and C-130J Platforms for all three ALCs.
  • Knowledge of Program Depot Maintenance and organic repairs of the fleets and interface with the ALCs and Requirement Manager.
  • Knowledge of Organic Sustainment Engineering and Software and interface with all POCs
  • Knowledge of Training requirements for both C-130H and C-130J.
  • Knowledge of LTS contract Lockheed Martin for Spares, PM, and SE support and interface with the various POCs.
  • Analyze sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements.
  • Coordinate all logistics elements related to Support Equipment (SE), spares, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the directorate's needs.
  • Provide product assistance to the PM and Product Support Manager (PSM) for the execution of the PSM's duties as the Total Life Cycle Systems Manager.
  • Assist with post award project/program management tasks and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
  • Assist in the development of a Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP)
  • Assist in the development of a Business Case Analysis (BCA)
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of capabilities utilizing DoD, USAF, and local logistics policies, procedures, and functionalities, and financial data requirements of acquisition logistics disciplines.
  • Assist in addressing product support elements: 1) sustaining/system engineering, 2) design interface, 3) supply support, 4) maintenance planning and management, 5) SE/Automatic Test Systems (ATS), 6) facilities, 7) Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), 8) technical data management/TOs, 9) manpower and personnel, 10) training, 11) computer resources, and 12) protection of critical program information and anti-tamper provisions.
  • Assist by supporting material efforts regarding damage scenarios, recovery, rebuild and depot maintenance, production shutdown, risk mitigation, part configurations, and production asset disposition; addressing/resolving DMSMS issues, research parts availability, establish AT parts supply priority, and resolve Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) situation; and identifying and monitoring mission partner support and field assessment requirements.
  • Assist sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition management, procurement, and other associated logistics data of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts and material.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of AFI 23-101, Air Force Material Management Policy, AFMAN 23-122, Material Management Procedures, and DoDM 4140.01, VOL 6, DoD Supply Chain Material Management Procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), IAW Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Standard Process for Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM).
  • Complete Government Furnished Property (GFP) inventories, document findings and ensure timely correction of discrepancies, In Accordance With (IAW), Department of the Air Force (DAFMAN) 23-119.
  • Prepare, analyze, and evaluate Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) GFP Reports, procedures, and policy data.
  • Assist in developing methods and improvement procedures for storage, issuing, and providing disposition instructions of GFP according to regulation.
  • Ensure compliance with Spare Parts Requirements, Spare Modeling, and Spare Requirement Review Board (SRRB).
  • Assist with Item Unique Identification (IUID), MIL-STD-129/130 process.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post Production Transition Plans (PPTP), and Transition to Post Production (TPP) and shall develop and execute requirements in phased strategies for PPTP and TPP.
  • Coordinate all logistics elements including but not limited to spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the directorate's needs. Assigned personnel shall perform as key participants in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government's acquisition strategy goals and objectives.
  • Assist in accomplishing analyses, writing reports, recommending actions, or performing any related tasks that provide logisticians the capability to conduct the orderly arrangement of all maintenance support, including SE, to keep systems and equipment ready to perform assigned missions. This includes all levels of maintenance and implementation of those levels using partnering, organic, and Contractor support.
  • Provide support in the following areas: performing reliability-centered maintenance program analyses, level of repair analyses, aircraft battle damage repair, and other maintenance trade studies; recommending required maintenance capability for all levels of repair to include calibration concepts, requirements, and plans; tracking and monitoring weapon system modifications; assisting with the Source of Repair Assignment Process (SORAP) and assisting in inter-service screening; aiding in the identification of requirements for interim contractor support, contractor logistics support, and post-production support; developing maintenance activation planning and processes; ensuring provisions are made for survivability, corrosion control, nondestructive inspection, structural integrity, built-in test and performance monitoring, and hazardous materials in addressing environmental logistics impacts; and identifying, quantifying, and assessing the ILS/product support and sustainment elements.
  • Perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy.
  • Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts.
  • Support the program office during Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, EMD, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support phases, to include all milestone activities.

Required Experience

One of the following:
    • MA/MS degree, and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD -OR-
    • BA/BS degree, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD -OR-
    • HS Diploma, and twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams), & Adobe Acrobat
  • Prior experience analyzing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and providing replacement recommendations
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior USAF/DoD supply system experience supporting aviation. Supporting C-130 aircraft a plus.
  • Prior System Program Office (SPO) experience
