As an Access Control Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, welcome employees and visitors, and support a smooth flow of people and deliveries. You will perform routine patrols and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, while communicating clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification, processing badges and/or credentials, managing visitor check-in and check-out, and coordinating escorts as required.
• Monitor access control points, cameras, alarms, and/or communications systems; document entries, exits, deliveries, and unusual activity in logs and reports per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, assisting with evacuation and/or shelter procedures, and supporting arriving responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including exterior perimeter and interior spaces, checking doors, gates, and controlled entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or security professional license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
