Job Title: LogisticianLocation: Point Mugu, CA
Introduction: Rivet Operations Company ("Rivet") has an opening for a Logistician to join our rapidly growing team in the Point Mugu, CA area. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in physical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development.
Duties: The performance of this work requires the application of broad knowledge of a wide variety of aviation supply/logistics support activities necessary to support Naval Aviation Support Detachments. These include, but are not limited to:
• Provide service in connection with Navy logistics operation, financial management and inventory management.
• Provide services in connection with aviation supply/logistic management for ashore activities.
• Provide supply support for assigned organizational Naval Aviation Support Detachments).
• Provide support for maintenance activities requiring direct supply support for maintenance and materials.
• Support change management strategies, functional areas and infrastructure to support demand planning and supply initiatives
• Perform supply management and product inventory to check for quality and quantity issues; return unacceptable materials to vendors to obtain replacement or refunds; warranty support and extended service plans.
• Provide expertise in inventory management and current stock levels to government teams and customers to facilitate accuracy, availability, and readiness.
• Conduct Inventories, validity management and record keeping and parts tracking.
• Provide services in connection with stock control operations, financial management, GCPC policy and procedure.
• Have a working knowledge of CASREP and Naval aviation logistics systems.
• Support Aircraft Material Condition Reports (AMCR) for Fleet Squadrons.
• Improve readiness in support of N41 and all tasks set forth by the Commodore.
• Directly support Supply Officers and Supply Chain of Commands in day to day taskings and operations.
Responsibilities

• Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.

• 10 to 15 years of experience and knowledge in US military logistics operation afloat and ashore (ASD), specifically a Logistics Specialist rating while in the military.
• Associate degree in logistics or a business discipline is required, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with financial management in the Navy.
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook) is required.
• Proficiency in Stock Control functions, NERP, ASD operations, NALCOMIS, AIS, NAVSUP One Touch, FIMARS, and NAVAIR processes.
• Experience and knowledge of the Navy Working Capital fund policies and concepts.
• Experience with the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness program.
• Experience with automated supply/maintenance management, supply system query programs, shipment channels, and standard supply processes.
• Proficiency with Navy R-Supply system, GCPC procedures, OPTAR management, and NERP.
Security Clearance:Position requires applicant to be a US Citizen and able to obtain the required security clearance for the position.
