Salesforce Project Control Analyst

***As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active DHS Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain this clearance ***

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce Project Control Analyst to join our team. The Salesforce Project Control Analyst will be responsible for providing project administration support, tracking performance metrics, managing personnel onboarding, and ensuring the successful execution of Salesforce projects. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as experience in project administration and support.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Salesforce Project Control Analyst: $75-95K

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Salesforce Project Control Analyst Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide project administration support, including preparing status reports, tracking sprint team velocity and other performance metrics, and managing personnel onboarding.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to gather project status updates and compile comprehensive status reports.
  • Track and monitor project schedules, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deadlines.
  • Support project coordination activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding, ensuring necessary resources and access are provided in a timely manner.
  • Support the preparation and drafting of weekly/monthly status reports, executive summaries, and other project-related documentation.
  • Ensure timely responses to Government inquiries and taskers, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide accurate and complete responses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain project databases and repositories in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date project information.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating to project managers as appropriate.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project control processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
  • Stay updated on project management best practices, industry trends, and relevant regulations and policies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Salesforce Project Control Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (preferred).
  • Shall have a minimum of seven (7) years of general work experience.
  • Experience providing administrative support on enterprise IT projects, including facilitating employee onboarding, preparing and drafting weekly/monthly status reports, ensuring timely responses to Government inquiries and taskers.
  • Experience working at a Department of Homeland Security agency as a Government employee or contractor (preferred).
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Public Trust Clearance
  • US. Citizenship is required
  • Preferred public sector experience or multiple Salesforce project implementation experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or JIRA.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in Salesforce projects or Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
