The Task Order Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of assigned task order activities in support of the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Program Management Office (PMO) at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This role serves as the primary interface with Government stakeholders and ensures that all work is performed in accordance with contractual requirements, acquisition milestones, established schedules, and mission objectives. The Task Order Project Manager leads contractor personnel, manages performance and risk, and ensures that technical and programmatic solutions are implemented in a timely and effective manner consistent with the scope and complexity of the task order.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government on all task order matters.
• Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of assigned task order activities to ensure successful delivery of technical and programmatic support services.
• Manage overall task order performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, timelines, and performance standards.
• Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules, acquisition milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate and direct contractor teams supporting Defense Business System lifecycle management, acquisition support, cybersecurity, testing, data governance, and related PMO functions.
• Provide routine status reporting, executive briefings, and written updates to Government leadership.
• Identify risks, issues, and resource constraints; implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee personnel performance, onboarding, and staffing adjustments in accordance with task order requirements.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Must have Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or other equivalent nationally recognized certification).
• Five (5) years of project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams supporting enterprise IT or acquisition programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
• Experience supporting DoD or other Federal program management offices.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance reporting activities.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical and functional teams.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
CLEARANCE:
• Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3).

• Remote
