This engagement supports a long-term program with our client's team, with emphasis on Linux, Python, and Ansible within a DevSecOps framework. The program offers a five-year contract potential, rapid Public Trust processing, and the opportunity to collaborate with a broader team. Candidates may be considered for hybrid flexibility after trust is established, though onsite presence is required.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Public Trust clearance. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $45.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain the software management toolset supporting development and deployment workflows.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain software configuration management solutions.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and secure software delivery.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system and pipeline issues.
  • Ensure systems comply with organizational security and DevSecOps standards.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices.

Experience Requirements:
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.
  • Experience with Linux, preferably Red Hat.
  • Proficiency with Bash shell scripting and Python.
  • Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
  • Hands-on use of Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Crucible.
  • Experience integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with secure configuration and compliance standards.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Eligible for Public Trust clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting government or regulated environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security scanning tools (preferred).
  • Exposure to containerization or cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure (preferred).

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • AWS certification (preferred).
