Position Description
ENSCO is seeking a PNT Software Engineer, this position provides support to the Precision Navigation and Timing Program Program Office specifically in support of the Global Positioning System (GPS).
Duties include:
- Create software analysis tools to enable the GPS team to verify requirements in support of GPS enterprise testing.
- Support design and architecture of software to assist the team in understanding large/complex data sets.
- Understand and analyze large data sets to compile meaningful results.
- Analyze GPS capabilities, including technical requirements, implementation plans, technical impacts of changes, and risks to success.
- Produce and contribute to reports that provide recommendations for fixes to issues and ways forward on technical challenges.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or Science
- 9 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience with designing and developing software
- Experience with C , C++ or C# and Python
- Experience with code configuration management and control tools/processes
- Demonstrated understanding of Engineering practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance for which you must be a U.S. Citizen
Qualifications Desired:
- Current active Top Secret Clearance
- GPS experience
- Experience with MS Visual Studio C++, C#, Python, MatLab
- Experience and familiarity working with DoD organizations
