The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and integration of security and monitoring technology solutions in support of a federal agency's mission-critical operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
- The candidate must have a strong foundation in secure system architecture, vulnerability management, and compliance with federal security standards.
- Additionally, proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, C/C++, PowerShell, or Bash, along with experience in database management (PostgreSQL,MySQL, or SQL Server), is required.
- This position demands strong technical problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a high-security environment.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or 5+ years of additional related experience).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering, cybersecurity, and system integration.
- Proficiency in system design, network security, and security monitoring solutions.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, C/C++, PowerShell, C#, or
- VB.
- Experience with database technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Knowledge of secure software and system lifecycle management.
- Experience assisting in hardware and firmware integration for secure system deployment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, high-security environments.
- Experience supporting custom hardware integration for security applications.
- Cybersecurity Certification: Security+, CEH, or GSEC.
- Computer Aided Design experience and/or 3D printing experience.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and operating U.S. Department of State Special Countermeasures Systems.
- Experience developing, implementing, and integrating Department of State IDS and ACS solutions.

Security Clearance:
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/TS-SCI security clearance are mandatory for this role.
