Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain the implemented test automation suite.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to develop and maintain new test automation scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to include development, DevSecOps, and operations teams.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with the solution's function, output, or content.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Document software defects using JIRA bug tracking system and report defects to the development teams and Scrum Master.
- Research, develop, install, and configure tools to improve testing and quality efforts.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance.
- 3-8 years' relevant experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.
- Prior working experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, End to End Testing, System Acceptance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases.
- Experience with GitHub, Python, and TypeScript.
- Experience developing repeatable test procedures, executing tests, recording results, and working with developers to identify and resolve issues.
- Proficiency coding an automated framework and working with open-source automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Jasmine, Karma).
- Python or TypeScript skills, basic knowledge of databases and related scripting/programming.
- Detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team, as well as independently.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team building.
- Must have good practical testing skills and an understanding of QA and development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Experience working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities.
- Experience with Cloud environments, specifically AWS.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development.
- Experience using Microsoft Playwright.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times.
