Position Overview
• We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to support technical planning, system integration, verification and validation (V&V), and lifecycle analyses for complex systems.
• This role contributes to the full product lifecycle, including concept development, design, fabrication, integration, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• The selected candidate will ensure the logical and systematic translation of customer and product requirements into comprehensive system solutions while balancing technical performance, schedule, cost, risk, and supportability considerations.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform technical planning and system-level integration activities
• Conduct verification and validation (V&V) to ensure compliance with system requirements
• Support cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation
• Define and manage system interfaces across hardware and software elements
• Translate customer requirements into detailed hardware and software specifications
• Support cross-functional teams throughout design, development, and test phases
• Travel to program sites as required (AL, CO, CA, PA)
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related technical field preferred)
• 1+ year of analog circuit design experience (internship experience acceptable)
• Experience in systems engineering processes, including requirements development and verification
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation, including:
• Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Electrical schematics
• CAD models
• Assembly-level engineering drawings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Willingness and ability to travel as required
