Celeris Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer IV. This role requires expertise in systems design for telemetry systems and networked architectures, with an emphasis on cyber-resilient system integration and detailed verification planning. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting range telemetry modernization and mission data system integration efforts.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, analyze, and manage system and subsystem requirements for telemetry and network-based systems.
• Support system architecture development for distributed telemetry and mission data transport systems.
• Contribute to cyber-resilient design considerations within telemetry and network infrastructures.
• Develop detailed test procedures, verification plans, and validation documentation.
• Support integration and execution of system-level testing, including data analysis and anomaly resolution.
• Maintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, design artifacts, and verification activities.
• Participate in formal technical reviews, including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR.
• Conduct impact assessments related to requirement, interface, or configuration changes.
• Coordinate with Government and contractor stakeholders across engineering and cybersecurity domains.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of systems engineering experience supporting aerospace or defense programs.
• Demonstrated experience in systems design for telemetry systems, communications systems, or network architectures.
• Experience developing detailed test procedures, verification plans, and integration documentation.
• Experience supporting system integration and formal test events.
• Strong understanding of cyber considerations within networked or distributed systems.
• Experience using requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo, Jama, or similar).
• Active Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting U.S. Space Force or range modernization programs.
• Familiarity with telemetry data flows, instrumentation systems, or mission control systems.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., RMF).
• Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience working in a highly integrated, multi-contractor environment.
