What the Role Does (High-Level)
As the Research Security Manager, you would:
Manage and Enhance Security Programs
• Develop, update, and enforce security policies and procedures
• Ensure the protection of sensitive research projects, data, and facilities
• Oversee compliance with DoD, SAP, and SCI security regulations
Lead Audits & Investigations
• Conduct regular facility and program security assessments
• Manage and document security incidents or breaches
• Work directly with government security reps (DCSA, DoD, USAF, etc.)
Supervise & Support Security Personnel
• Provide guidance and training to cleared staff
• Support SAP/SCI indoctrinations, debriefings, and personnel processing
Collaborate Across Teams
• Partner with researchers, IT, program managers, and federal agencies
• Provide security education and briefings
• Help integrate security into the research workflow

Ideal Background
The team is looking for candidates with:
• Active Top Secret Clearance (SCI/SAP highly preferred)
• Experience in SAP/SCI, FSO/CPSO, PSO, or similar classified program security roles
• Background in physical security, personnel security, and program compliance
• Experience with audits, investigations, SOP writing, or facility security
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience

• On-site in a secure research facility in Lincoln, MA
• Work directly alongside scientists, engineers, and federal partners
• Monday–Friday schedule supporting classified programs
