Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Support Engineer to support our client in Orlando, FL. The Network Support Engineer will provide technical engineering, fielding support, and network sustainment for training, simulation, and instrumentation systems. The engineer will assist with deployment preparation, on - site installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure systems meet Government standards and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities of the Network Support Engineer include:
· Support system fielding events, site readiness activities, and on - site integration
· Install, configure, and validate hardware, software, and network components
· Configure and maintain routers, switches, servers, and associated network infrastructure
· Troubleshoot network connectivity, data flow, and performance issues
· Support secure system operations in accordance with cybersecurity and IA requirements
· Assist with Government Acceptance Testing (GAT) and site acceptance activities
· Document configurations, issues, and resolutions; support after - action reviews and lessons learned
· Coordinate with program offices, engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and contractors to ensure successful fielding and sustainment
Qualifications for the Network Support Engineer include:
· Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field
· Minimum of 10 years supporting fielding, networking, or systems integration activities
· Demonstrated experience in network configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment
· Experience integrating and fielding networked systems
· Proficiency with hardware/software installation, system checkout, and verification
· Experience supporting on - site technical operations and field events
· Active Secret clearance
· Authorization to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
· Ability to travel for fielding events and on - site operations
· Experience supporting DoD or Army training and simulation environments
· Knowledge of Government fielding processes and acceptance testing
· Familiarity with RMF, IA, and network security concepts
· Experience operating in deployed or field environments
Compensation for the Network Support Engineer includes:
· Salary Range: $80,000-$125,000 depending on experience
