Location: Berkeley, MO or Seattle, WA | Duration: 6-Month Contract | Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role
Join Indotronix as a Model-Based Systems Engineer 3 supporting cutting-edge programs for a leading Defense, Space & Security client. As part of the innovative Phantom Works Systems Engineering and Integration Team, you'll collaborate with top Subject Matter Experts to develop highly integrated, autonomous weapon systems using advanced Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering strategies. This fully onsite role provides a dynamic environment focused on professional growth and impactful projects critical to national security.
Responsibilities
- Drive MBSE adoption by supporting program implementation and system modeling initiatives.
- Partner with system architects, engineers, and stakeholders to design, develop, and verify complex, integrated systems.
- Lead and facilitate requirements decomposition, system architecture, environment analysis, specification development, trade studies, risk management, certification, and integration activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation and management of systems engineering activities within MBSE models.
- Support cross-functional teams in meeting project deliverables, customer reviews, and system verification plans.
- Foster collaboration across engineering disciplines in a fast-paced, onsite setting.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience (Bachelor's), 3+ years (Master's), or relevant PhD experience.
- Hands-on experience with MBSE, SysML, and Cameo/MSOSA toolsets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
- US Citizenship required.
Preferred Skills
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Background in Aerospace & Defense engineering environments.
- Deep knowledge of systems architecture and requirements decomposition.
