Access Control Lead

As the Access Control Lead you will be responsible for the entireaccess control process. You will own the gatekeeping, customer facing, function of our team - everything from credentialing to visitor management. You'll drive our standards and processes regarding everything from badge technology to visitor management, ensuring a frictionless experience for all of our employees, contractors, and guests.

What You'll Do

• Lead the implementation of new access control technologies to address evolving security requirements
• Establish scalable, repeatable processes for onboarding, transfers, and offboarding to ensure appropriate access rights management
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, HR, and Security teams to ensure cohesive implementation of access control protocols
• Monitor compliance with security policies and identify/remediate vulnerabilities or violations
• Create and maintain documentation for all access control systems and processes
• Develop and deliver security awareness training related to physical access control
• Perform regular audits of access control systems and user permissions
• Support incident response for security breaches related to access control
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading access control systems
• Strong knowledge of security principles and access control hardware
• Proficiency with identity management systems and access governance frameworks
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Flexibility in schedule management, prioritization of tasks, and adaptability to rapidly changing environments
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong project management skills and experience with large-scale security system implementations
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and making sound decisions in emergency situations
• Understanding of IT security principles and identity management
