Under a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP operates and maintains facilities, systems, and associated grounds across Virginia and Maryland. Services provided include comprehensive facility operations; project management for renovations, minor construction, and major equipment repairs; engineering, construction, and operations support; custodial and grounds maintenance services; environmental, safety, and occupational health support; food services; motorpool and logistics operations; and physical and technical security services.
As the Facilities Operations Manager , will oversee the operations and maintenance support for the program, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and excellent communication skills. The Facilities Manager will work independently with moderate supervision, maintaining close contact with the Program Management Office (PMO). The position demands flexibility, including travel to third-world locations, and availability to address urgent facility issues outside of regular business hours.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (not limited to duties as described - performs related duties as requested)
- Receive and record all Operations, Maintenance and Repair (OM&R) work requests
- Manage day to day operations and updates of the CMMS system
- Execute a preventative and predictive maintenance (PM) program
- Maintain prioritized schedules for OM&R
- Initiate and manage "best practices" and process improvement
- Measure work performance against established goals and standards
- Catalog and maintain site drawings
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma, Vocational School or Trade School Diploma.
- Five (5) years of work experience in a leadership role supporting global facilities maintenance programs.
- Two (2) years of construction management experience.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Proficiency in using Microsoft products (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project) and CMMS a plus.
- Experience working in government facilities
