The Business Data Analyst provides analytical, documentation, and programmatic support in support of the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Program Management Office (PMO) at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This role supports the collection, organization, preparation, and maintenance of documentation, reports, and deliverables associated with enterprise systems, acquisition lifecycle activities, and program management functions. The Business Data Analyst works under general supervision and contributes to ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of program artifacts and reporting products.

The Business Data Analyst provides analytical, documentation, and programmatic support in support of the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Program Management Office (PMO) at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This role supports the collection, organization, preparation, and maintenance of documentation, reports, and deliverables associated with enterprise systems, acquisition lifecycle activities, and program management functions. The Business Data Analyst works under general supervision and contributes to ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of program artifacts and reporting products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support in collecting and organizing information required for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, and other customer deliverables to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Support financial and administrative tasks related to program documentation and reporting.
- Prepare and/or maintain systems, programming, and operations documentation, procedures, and methods under general supervision.
- Maintain a current internal documentation library to ensure all program materials are organized and up to date.
- Provide or coordinate special documentation services as required.
- Assist in tracking data, schedules, milestones, and program artifacts to support acquisition and lifecycle management activities.
- Support preparation of executive briefings, status reports, and presentation materials.
- Ensure documentation complies with contractual requirements and applicable Government standards.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting documentation development, data tracking, and reporting activities in enterprise or Government environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under general supervision.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
- Experience analyzing and interpreting program data to support reporting requirements.
- Experience documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience preparing structured reports and briefing materials for leadership.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
CLEARANCE:
- Must possess an IT-III Non-Sensitive security clearance or Tier 1 (T1).
