Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Siemens PLM Support Engineer to serve as the primary point of contact for users of Siemens Teamcenter, NX, Opcenter, Capital, and other Xcelerator tools. This role provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, manages the help desk queue, and performs troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and issue escalation across enterprise PLM environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and sustaining Siemens Teamcenter solutions within complex enterprise infrastructures, and is capable of independently supporting secure and mission-critical production environments. This role is remote with travel to St. Louis, MO onsite.

Key Responsibilities
User Support & Ticket Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Siemens PLM users, providing Tier 1/Tier 2 support for Teamcenter, NX, Opcenter, Capital, and other Xcelerator applications.
- Perform initial triage, troubleshooting, and root-cause categorization for incoming help desk tickets (user issues, environment issues, configuration problems, software defects).
- Monitor and manage support channels-including help desk phone line and email queue-ensuring timely responses and full ticket ownership through resolution.
- Track assigned issues from intake to closure with accurate communication, thorough follow-up, and cross-team collaboration.
Technical Troubleshooting & System Analysis
- Review system/application logs to diagnose environment-related and application functionality issues, including within secure or classified environments.
- Coordinate with end users, Siemens SMEs, and infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain clear, detailed, and up-to-date technical documentation.
Teamcenter Deployment & Administration
- Deploy, configure, and sustain Siemens Teamcenter environments using TEM, Deployment Center, and enterprise deployment best practices.
- Administer, configure, and support Teamcenter across test, staging, and production environments.
- Support enterprise PLM, ERP, and MES integrations, including environment setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
Enterprise Infrastructure Support
- Work across Linux and Windows Server environments, virtualized networks, proxy/web servers, cloud platforms, identity management systems, and enterprise databases.
- Utilize automation and scripting tools to optimize deployments and system sustainment.
- Ensure stable, secure, high-availability operations supporting mission-critical PLM systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; OR equivalent practical experience.
- 5-8 years of professional experience working with PLM and enterprise IT technologies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience deploying and maintaining Siemens Teamcenter or Xcelerator products, or 5+ years supporting comparable PLM systems (e.g., ENOVIA, Windchill, Aras Innovator, Agile).
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter deployment methodologies including TEM and Deployment Center.
- Proven experience administering, configuring, and supporting Teamcenter in enterprise environments.
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure technologies, including:
- Linux and Windows Server
- Virtualized and heterogeneous networking environments
- Web/proxy servers and cloud platforms
- Automation & scripting tools
- Identity and access technologies (AD, SAML, SSL, SSO)
- Application platforms (Java EE, .NET)
- Databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Demonstrated ability to independently stand up and maintain complex PLM environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience supporting or leading ATO (Authority to Operate) efforts, including documentation and compliance activities.
- Experience developing infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Salary
- $160,000-$170,000 *depending on experience*
