Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Network Support Engineer to support a DoD training and simulation program based in Orlando, Florida. This position is a full-time, onsite role. This position is critical in supporting the fielding, integration, sustainment, and secure operation of complex training, simulation, instrumentation, and networked systems. Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Network Support Engineer to support a DoD training and simulation program based in Orlando, Florida. This position is a full-time, onsite role. This position is critical in supporting the fielding, integration, sustainment, and secure operation of complex training, simulation, instrumentation, and networked systems. As a Network Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring systems are installed, configured, tested, and fully operational in accordance with Government standards and mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support system fielding events, pre-deployment preparation, and on-site technical operations.
- Coordinate site readiness, system installation, configuration, checkout, and verification activities.
- Perform network configuration, troubleshooting, and performance validation of routers, switches, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Assist with integration of hardware, software, and network components supporting Government training and simulation systems.
- Provide on-site and remote network support to ensure secure connectivity, data flow, and system interoperability.
- Support Government Acceptance Testing (GAT), site acceptance activities, and field exercises.
- Document configurations, issues, resolutions, and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with Government program offices, engineers, cybersecurity teams, and contractors to ensure successful system fielding and sustainment.
- Maintain compliance with Government cybersecurity, CUI handling, and information assurance requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field
- 10+ years of experience supporting fielding, networking, or systems integration activities
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Network configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment
- Fielding and integration of networked systems
- Hardware/software installation and checkout
- Supporting on-site technical operations and field events
- Active Secret security clearance
- Must be authorized to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
- Ability to travel in support of fielding events and on-site operations
Compensation to include:
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $126,000 (depending on experience)
- Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave if required by law
