Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Information Systems Engineering Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Ground Systems Team. This leadership role is located in Ellsworth, SD.

Primary Level Salary Range: $119,900.00 - $179,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Qualified candidates will apply technical knowledge and will have the opportunity to work on multiple tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Lead a multi-disciplined team to deliver receiving, integration, testing, acceptance, operations, and sustainment of B21 Ground Systems.
- Coordinate delivery of services to user groups and ensure IT service is uninterrupted.
- Identifying, allocating, and managing program resources, including workforce planning.
- Managing Government/customer/NG assets or information (GFE, CFE, etc.).
- Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.
- Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation, and realization for off-site operations.
- Prepare briefings on status/progress and processes at the Site; present information in the appropriate cadences to ensure stakeholder awareness.
- Help develop and shape additional programs/processes.
- Coordinate physical space/footprint options for near-term accommodations and long-term growth
- Prepare documentation to support and communicate site status.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of experience to include a background in Information Technology/Systems, Cybersecurity/Information Security, Network/System Administration, Computer/ Data Science/Analytics, or Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of experience to include a background in Information Technology/Systems, Cybersecurity/Information Security, Network/System Administration, Computer/ Data Science/Analytics, or Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering
- Experience leading multi-disciplined IT teams on complex problems
- Experience delivering, integrating, and testing communication systems
- Experience working in a DoD environment
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET or higher clearance
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with aircraft ground systems (Ground Communication Interface, Maintenance Information Systems, Mission Planning Systems) e.g. F-22, F-35, Global Hawk, Predator, B-21
- Experience working in an Air Force flightline environment
- Experience working with Air Force IT communications equipment
- Experience working with Air Force aircraft maintenance
- Experience with Air Force flight operations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance
- Active Special Access Program clearance
