Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Systems Administrator in support of the Cross Domain Solutions Program Management Offices (PMO). Requires skilled, technically knowledgeable, and experienced support to execute development for enhancements and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems and environments; and execute special projects. Our team is responsible for providing lifecycle engineering, logistical, and administrative support to Government Program Management Offices (PMO) at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks with conflicting priorities in a team environment.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72150 - $122655
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Proven experience managing Atlassian Jira and Confluence Data Center environments in IT organizations
- Strong expertise in infrastructure setup, clustering, load balancing, and high availability configurations
- Experience with integrating Jira and Confluence via APIs, webhooks, and plugins with other enterprise applications and systems
- Proficient with Linux/Windows server environments and virtualization platforms
- Experience managing databases supporting Atlassian applications (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle)
- Hands-on experience with Datadog for monitoring application and server performance, including web application performance investigation and tuning
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and backup strategies in an IT context
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional IT teams
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Install, maintain, and audit a secure MS Windows network environment and limited web/data application service
- Maintain Certification Authority systems
- Maintain a VMware environment and backend attached storage solutions
- File servers, firewalls, email services, network access solutions, and Security Monitoring Systems maintenance
- Responsible for daily system monitoring, security, server health, resources and log management of Linux and Windows systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. This includes troubleshooting any and all issues with system configurations, backups, files systems, and user access
- Apply DISA STIG compliance controls to secure systems
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of experience in requirements analysis, systems engineering, operations and maintenance, network/systems administration, and configuration management
- 5 years of experience in Windows Server OS and Red Hat Linux administration/configuration.
- Network and application security experience (e.g., encryption, SSL, auditing, etc.)
- Extensive experience in performing root cause analysis in complex and distributed environments
- DOD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification required (such as CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
- Experience working in an air-gapped environment
