Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

As a PROGRAM ANALYST at the NH-0343-3 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Lead Business Process Reengineering efforts to enable Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) implementation.
- Provide direction in analyzing and resolving complex transportation issues and process improvement that enhance the program area.
- Lead the design and development of process models, conducting analysis, and performing analytical tasks to develop new and improved solutions for JDDE operational and enabling functions.
- Provide transportation, logistics, and financial expertise to analyze and resolve complex and/or sensitive transportation, logistics, and financial management problems, and implements new developments and technology.
- Plan and conduct complicated and comprehensive analytical studies in order to improve internal transportation, logistics, and financial work processes and organizational structures.
- Perform internal project oversight and serve as an advisor on all aspects of transportation and business strategy, policy development, and business process management and reengineering.
- Conduct analysis of Enterprise Architectures to ensure they support the implementation of JTMS' strategic goals and business transformation efforts.

- Apply transportation, logistics, and financial operations policies, concepts, principles, and methodologies applicable to air, land, and sea transportation during peacetime and wartime.
- Utilize Business Process Management methodologies to assess processes, identify gaps, and create effective strategies for improvement.
- Leverage the DoD structure, mission, objectives, and organizational functions to effectively implement and maintain transportation and logistics program policies, procedures, and governance, optimizing BPM processes.
- Utilize analytical and evaluative methodologies to evaluate transportation requirements supporting mission objectives.
