Job Description

As a Security Officer Clearance Required Armed Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering customer-focused service. This post requires Level III Armed Certification.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and all applicable laws and licensing requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and/or assisting public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, and report security-related concerns per site procedures.
• Complete required security-related reports and logs, monitor cameras and alarms as assigned, and communicate clearly with client personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
• Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
