As a Security Guard - Roving Patrol Driver in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete mobile rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific, security-related procedures, badge requirements, and post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing deliveries, and directing traffic in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic systems, and promptly escalate issues through the chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid - preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Lift Up to 20 lbs - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
