Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Photographer V in Port Hueneme, CA.
Job Summary: This role provides visual information and videography support to organizational leadership and department personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Supports the creation of images and visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate internal and external audiences, to include: Efforts to produce and preserve images that tell a story or record an event;
- Portrait photography of individuals or groups of people.
- Commercial and industrial photography/videography of various subjects, such as buildings, models, merchandise, artifacts, and landscapes.
- Photography, videography and digital video production of people, places, and events for NSWC PHD digital news sites, journals, magazines, websites, or television productions.
- Multimedia presentation design, preparation, production, and set-up services for NSWC PHD Command meetings, conferences, symposiums and reviews.
- Use of digital illustration, photo/video editing software/hardware, equipment and layout software to create designs and animations
- Creation of visual elements that help deliver a desired message
- Design of production layouts and selection of colors, images, and typefaces.
- Incorporation of changes recommended by NSWC PHD stakeholders into final work products
- Webpage design, development, upgrade, and maintenance.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Knowledge of digital signage platforms (NERDS, marquee, jumbotron)
- Experienced in a variety of printing, including large-scale printing, cutting and mounting to foam board, portrait photos and passport photos
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Experienced with taking military and senior-level official portraits in accordance with Navy standards
- Experience with capturing ship arrivals, knowledge of how to handle photography equipment around weapon systems and sensitive equipment

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $35.00 - $44.59 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Seven (7) years' experience using special-purpose cameras and related equipment, planning and organizing overall technical photographic coverage for events and developments in phases of a scientific, industrial, medical, or research projects while creating desired illusions or emotional effects through a high degree of ingenuity and imaginative camera work.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written formats.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
