Description

The Senior Growth Operations Analysis Lead ensures smooth operation of Defense Systems growth business rhythms, working closely with the Sector Growth SVP, Business Area Growth VPs, BD Analysts, Finance, Contracts, and other functions.

This role is based at Leidos headquarters in Reston, Virginia, reporting to the Vice President of Strategy, Campaigns and Growth Operations, and requires up to five days in office per week.

Primary Responsibilities

Operations & Reporting
  • Direct Sector and Business Area teams to ensure timely and accurate report generation for all operational rhythms
  • Generate critical reports including weekly BD metrics, NBF reports, Business Process Review inputs, Board of Directors materials, Executive Leadership Team slides, and Quarterly Business Review presentations
  • Perform independent analysis of Growth Performance Metrics (submits, awards, new business funds spending, backlog, book-to-bill, on-contract growth, forecasting) to identify negative trends and provide corrective recommendations
  • Manage weekly CRM discrepancy reports and corrections to achieve a zero-discrepancy baseline

Business Development Support
  • Prepare for and execute core BD business rhythms including Pipeline Reviews, Gate Reviews (Pursue-No-Pursue, Bid-No-Bid), and Bid Approval Reviews for Sector and Corporate opportunities
  • Assist in managing the Sector Growth calendar, ensuring key reviews and events are planned in advance, as well as the appropriate follow-up actions as required
  • Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and quarterly forecast updates for growth metrics
  • Track growth actions and provide routine and ad-hoc support to senior leadership

Budget & Event Management
  • Prepare, allocate, and track NBF for the Defense Sector; manage NBF efficiency reporting and corrective actions; ensure teams are properly charging to Overhead, General Marketing, Campaigns, and Bid & Proposal charge numbers
  • Prepare, allocate, and track budgets for all Sector-led trade shows and monitor approvals and expenditures throughout the year
  • Foster collaboration within and across Leidos sectors and Defense Sector BAs, to include the re-allocation of funds between BAs based on priority and need
  • Coordinate closely with Sector FBO staff to ensure the growth IHO budget execution is on track


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of related experience (or Master's degree with 13+ years)
  • Proven track record in business development operations and pipeline support, including mastery of Growth lifecycle, CRM tools, and the WinPlan process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and WinIt for opportunity tracking and pipeline management, as well as the visualization of creative growth metric tracking
  • Experience coordinating, budgeting, and supporting Tier 1-3 tradeshows
  • Strong communication skills for developing, organizing, and executing cross-functional Growth and Strategy initiatives
  • Understanding of Government Acquisition Process and ability to adapt to non-traditional acquisition patterns
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance


Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly motivated with strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to gain internal support, work independently with limited supervision, and establish strong relationships with senior management and peers
  • Expert-level proficiency in Power BI presentations and Excel pivot tables
  • Ability to work in-office up to five days per week

Pay Range: Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
