Overview
The Change Management Lead II documents all assets and their interconnections, provides updates monthly on all changes to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of Information Technology (OIT) enterprise.
Responsibilities
· Provide documentation and drawings on demand for all UC systems to ensure they are continually updated and have detailed and accurate information
· Provide drawings in Visio and of both physical and logical topologies of the current standard, and facilitate USCIS's ability to easily read, modify, create layers, and utilize them using minimal training on the software already procured and on systems
· Submit requests for additions, updates, changes, patches, troubleshooting, and documenting enterprise changes
· Provide inventory management of all USCIS Multimedia Operations network and customer support services, hardware, and software.
· Perform real-time monitoring of all key devices within USCIS Multimedia Operations.
· Provide on-demand support in the creation of requested documentation, testing, programming, and management of all USCIS Unified Communications assets which may arise due to certification and accreditation issues.
Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar Information Technology Field.
· Strong skills in the use of Service Management tools, such as ServiceNow or Remedy required
· ITIL certification required or the ability to obtain within 12 months
· Knowledge of the ITIL framework required
· Agile professional certification preferred
· Expertise in integrating technical process workflows within current and future Change Management (CM) automation required
· 4+ years' team lead or equivalent experience in enterprise Information Technology (IT) Change Management, metrics and reporting, IT Service Management (ITSM) process management, or other relevant experience required
· Experience developing written functional documentation and training materials
· Thorough knowledge of the relationships between Change Management, Configuration Management, and Release Management, and a desire to improve that understanding in others
· Demonstrated leadership experience implementing and improving IT processes
· Experience providing direction on implementing and maintaining internal change management policies, procedures, and associated training plans
· Overall responsibility for managing the CM team, priorities, status, and deliverables
· Proven ability to work closely with the business community as well as technical resources in a tactful manner
