Job Description
AV is looking for an experienced GNC engineer to support the development and execution of its MAST Missile program. The MAST missile program is a well-established mission that has been supporting military customers for over 12 years. This role will support different software development tasks and integration efforts. Several skill sets are needed to support this position, and the candidate must be able to work in a multi-faceted and demanding environment. Candidate must be willing to travel to remote tests sites to support range tests. As a premier program within the AV' s Surrogate Missiles product group, the ideal candidate should be a hands-on, team player with an exceptional ability to deliver superior results and solve complex problems using an innovative, `out-of-the-box' approach.

The salary range for this role is:
$111,500 - $158,025

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Experience in developing in C++. Linux experience.
- 6DoF Modeling and Simulation Experience.
- GNC algorithm development experience
- Multi-functional testing experience
- Monte Carlo simulation and statistical analysis.
- Candidate must be able to use all standard Windows based platforms like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Candidate must be able to speak and present materials and or data to large or small audiences.
- 10+ years of experience
- US Citizen
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience developing guidance, navigation and autopilot algorithms.
- MATLAB experience.
- Soldering and PCB fabrication/rework to IPC standards for surface mount and thru hole components.
- Previous work with missiles systems avionics
- Hardware in the loop past performance
- Field experience at missile test ranges
- Previous implementation of high-speed interfaces (PCIe)
- LabVIEW programming for hardware testing experience a plus.
