Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Expert in SCCM (MECM) / Intune administration in a co-managed environment, including patching, package prep and deployment and reporting on Windows devices.
- Systems administration of Windows systems using PowerShell, scripting, and automation.
- Laptop deployment and management using SCCM (task sequence) - Autopilot a plus.
- Experienced migrating SCCM workflows to Intune - a must.
- Active Directory/Entra ID administration in a Hybrid Environment - a plus.
- VMware Horizon - VDI management and administration.
- Amazon Web Services Windows instances deployment and AWS Workspaces administration - a plus
- Documentation, development of system diagrams and SOPs
- Conducting integration testing, transition and acceptance and training from the Engineering phase to the production phase.
- Leverage engineering best practices within design, administration, installation and support for systems/server, software, and security.
- Installing, configuring, and supporting windows applications on Windows servers and desktop systems, both virtual and physical (laptops) using SCCM/Intune.
- Strategize and execute periodic patching activities including vulnerability remediation using SCCM/Intune.
- Creating, testing, and coordinating the implementation of Group Policy objects and experience with AD monitoring tools
- VDI image creation, maintenance and deployment VM templates (VMware Horizon View)
- You will be responsible for the maintenance of Virtual Desktop images (VDI) - Horizon View - by deploying updated images and troubleshooting issues for individual users.
- You will gather requirements and develop plans for deploying new applications to devices and create automated processes for deployment.
- You will monitor the environment, including review and maintenance of security settings.
- Involves an in-depth understanding of the overall infrastructure and ability to provide remote troubleshooting and resolution
- Administration of Active Directory/Entra ID (including group policies for security settings on Windows 11 OS)
- Design and implement architecture and implementation solutions to address the functional and performance requirements across the application, middleware, data, infrastructure, network, and security layers of the enterprise information sharing platform
Education & Experience
- 10+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of experience with SCCM (MECM) and Intune in a co-managed environment
- Experience in M365/EntraID
- Experience in a Hybrid environment (on-prem / M365)
- Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting.
Must have experience in the following technologies
- Expert in Active Directory/Entra ID administration in a hybrid environment
- Expert in SCCM/Intune administration in a co-managed environment, including patching, package prep and deployment and reporting of Windows Devices
- Systems administration of Windows systems using PowerShell, scripting, and automation
- Windows server deployment in cloud (AWS) and virtualized environments (VMware) (Windows 2019/2022 experience preferred)
- VMware Horizon management and administration a plus
- BeyondTrust (Bomgar) solutions experience a plus (Remote Assistance/PAM)
- Recast solutions experience a plus
- Documentation, development of system diagrams and SOPs
- Conducting integration testing, transition and acceptance and training from the Engineering phase to the production phase.
- Coordinate activities at the system interface boundaries with other contractors and Government organizations.
Preference given for experience in the following technologies

- Intune to manage mobile devices and iPAD (MDM)
- Active Directory/Entra ID - Hybrid

- Skilled in Windows OS deployment, management, and configuration
- Skilled in Windows 11 upgrades and support
- Skilled in using Active Directory Group Policies to manage and configure security settings on Windows as well as general Active Directory administration
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Preference given for Microsoft certification

- Public Trust High (Tier 4/BI) Risk Level
- Must be a US citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident

- Preference is given to candidates in the DC metro area. The position is hybrid with the expectation of being in the Department of Treasury offices at least 3 times a week.
- NOTE: First 3 months will be onsite for knowledge transfer.
