Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to join our Logistics (Technical Documents) team in Mt. Laurel NJ As part of our team the successful candidate will support the US Navy's Aegis Combat System (ACS) research and development, shipboard ACS modernization efforts, new construction, and Fleet support efforts. Aegis is the Navy's premiere computer suite in detection, managing, command & control, directing sensors and putting weapons on target.

Full-Time Salary Range: $56401 - $95881

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review, evaluate & analyze Technical Manuals and Maintenance Work Packages for technical accuracy, readability, and compliance with the Navy Technical Manual Style Guide
- Provide on-site support for the Functional Readiness Assessment Tests (FRATS) as required per the schedule which will include working non-traditional work hours to support mission requirements
- Provide Technical Documentation Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Releasability Reviews
- Evaluate FMS Case Releasability Guidelines for adequacy
- Coordinate review of requirements and schedule with the Government Customer, Lockheed Martin MST, and NSWC Port Hueneme
- Provide Technical Documentation reviews and releasability recommendations to Customer
- Adjudicate comments and ensure corrections incorporated into documents
- Assist in preparation of reports and presentations
- Assist in the project management of special projects for the customer - i.e. Process and Procedure Updates
- Support a team leader to meet tasking objectives
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree , or military experience
- Strong writing & analytical ability
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
- Must be able to obtain and keep a US Federal Government Secret Clearance
- Experience in U.S. DoD and FMS technical documentation production, releasability, or quality assurance reviews
- Experience may include Technical Documentation support in related fields such as commercial research and development efforts, or maritime industries
