  • Facilitate collaboration and serve as liaison among NNSA, DoD, defense contractors, design agencies, and production agencies.
  • Support DOE product realization processes and participate in DoD working groups to ensure alignment of acquisition and sustainment efforts.
  • Identify cross-program impacts and provide recommendations to mitigate risks affecting Defense Programs initiatives.
  • Communicate technical risks, certification considerations, and schedule impacts to federal and military leadership.
  • Evaluate program performance metrics and provide assessments regarding technical maturity, quality standards, milestone execution, and customer requirements.
  • Support Air Force Nuclear Certification activities, including familiarity with certification processes for DoD-designed equipment, software, and facilities.
  • Travel as required to national security laboratories, production facilities, and DoD locations to support program execution and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements:
  • Active DOE Q clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Program Management, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting nuclear weapons programs within DOE/NNSA, DoD, national laboratories, or production agencies.
  • Experience in project management, program integration, systems engineering, acquisition support, or related disciplines.
  • Understanding of Nuclear Security Enterprise roles and responsibilities, including design and production agency interfaces.
  • Experience briefing and advising federal officials or military leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
