MTSI is seeking to hire a Senior Test Engineer to provide ground and flight test support to the Missile Defense Agency's Director for Space Capabilities - Test (MDA/DCST). The candidate must be capable of leading and supporting planning, coordinating, execution, and integration of developmental space systems.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $130,000/year to $150,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.

Required Job Knowledge and Skills:
- US Citizenship and a Secret Clearance required.
- BS Degree in engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited school (aerospace, mechanical, industrial/systems desired)
- 7 years of experience performing engineering duties in test, aerospace, or space systems related position (10+ years desired)
- Experience analyzing and understanding system/programmatic requirements and key performance indicators
- Experience in on-console flight test and/or ground test operations
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate space system capabilities and limitations
- Ability to integrate space systems into dedicated and partner flight tests and ground tests
- Ability to develop and communicate innovative test CONOPs tailored to each mission
- Ability to prepare pre/post-test documentation (test plans, test readiness reviews, risk reviews, etc.)
- Ability to coordinate with both internal and external agencies to maximize space system participation in relevant flight tests
- Possess the ability to plan and execute multiple tests in various stages of completion
- Possess excellent communication skills - both oral and written - and possess analytical skills to identify and mitigate risks
- Possess ability to understand, operate, and troubleshoot flight test execution equipment (situational awareness screens, communications panels, chats, etc.)
- Possess ability to understand simulation models for space systems and their integration into larger ground test and/or wargame simulation frameworks
- Coordinate pre/post-mission analysis with subject matter experts
Desired Job Knowledge and/or Skills:
- Experience working with Operational or Developmental Test organizations is highly desired
- Knowledge of MDA test processes and procedures (both ground and flight)
- Experience with range operations, safety, scheduling, and countdown procedures
- Proficiency in the use and integration of Microsoft Office applications
