We are seeking a Director of Business Development (USG) to drive new business growth through proactive, outbound-led sales efforts. This role is ideal for a seasoned "hunter" with deep experience targeting US Government accounts that are currently adopting or scaling the Palantir Foundry and AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) ecosystems.

You will own the outbound motion, build a consistent pipeline, and close complex services deals that help federal clients unlock the full value of their investments in the Palantir stack.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Outbound Growth: Lead a rigorous outbound prospecting program (email, calling, LinkedIn, and ABM) focused on US Government opportunities, with a primary emphasis on agencies with existing Palantir Foundry footprints.
Consultative Sales Execution: Execute a high-touch, consultative process to uncover client pain points and scope high-end software engineering and data science services.
Mission-Aligned Proposal Development: Partner with our engineering and delivery leadership to shape technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and value-based business cases that demonstrate the ROI of advanced data ontologies.
Network & Relationship Cultivation: Leverage and expand a personal network of decision-makers across government agencies where Foundry and AIP adoption is strong.
Lifecycle Ownership: Own the full opportunity lifecycle from initial discovery and "black hat" sessions through RFP response, contract signature, and delivery handoff.
Operational Excellence: Maintain meticulous sales hygiene within the CRM, providing leadership with accurate forecasting and actionable insights on the Palantir partner ecosystem.

Qualifications:
Experience: 7+ years of proven success in public sector sales with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding outbound-driven quotas.
Platform Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Palantir ecosystem, specifically how Foundry is deployed within the federal landscape to solve data integration and operational challenges.
Technical Fluency: Ability to engage in meaningful technical discussions regarding data engineering, ontologies, and enterprise digital transformation.
Government Fluency: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex buying groups and the federal procurement cycle.
Skills: Strong understanding of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) best practices and multi-channel outbound execution.

Preferred Experience:
Direct experience in industries or agencies where Palantir Foundry is a common "operating system" for data (e.g., DoD, HHS, IRS, or Treasury).
Background in data engineering, analytics, or AI-driven decision support.
