In the GovCon world, the transition to Chief Revenue Officer is a significant career milestone. While many organizations require prior CRO experience, we are specifically looking for a high-performing Growth or Business Development executive who is ready for their first C-Suite appointment. If you have mastered the federal capture lifecycle and are looking for a seat at the table where you can influence the entire revenue ecosystem—from market positioning to contract execution—this role is designed for you.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Integration: Align Business Development, Capture, and Marketing into a unified growth engine. You will move beyond managing "deals" to architecting a sustainable revenue strategy.
Full Lifecycle Oversight: Own the revenue journey across the federal landscape, ensuring seamless transitions from initial agency engagement through to successful re-competes.
Collaborative Leadership: Work as a peer to the CEO and CFO to develop multi-year financial forecasts and ensure the organization is positioned for long-term scalability.
Market Positioning: Refine our "Prime vs. Sub" strategies and strengthen our footprint within Tier-1 integrators and niche agency partners.
What You'll Have:
The Transitioning Leader: You are likely a VP of Business Development, Sales, or Growth with a consistent record of success in the Federal (DoD, Civilian, or Intel) space.
GovCon Fluency: You possess a deep understanding of the FAR/DFARS, IDIQ/GWAC vehicles, and the nuances of federal procurement.
Analytical Mindset: You value data-driven decision-making and have experience using CRMs and market intelligence tools to guide capture strategies.
Mentorship-Focused: You are a leader who takes pride in developing the next generation of capture and proposal professionals.
