Job Description:
As an LMS Administrator and Architect, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing and managing the infrastructure for Totara and Moodle platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all upgrades and enhancements to these systems, with a focus on transitioning the runtime environment from EC2 to a containerized platform, specifically ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift on AWS).
You will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive upgrade plan while ensuring the platforms remain stable, secure, and scalable. Additionally, you will manage the entire infrastructure supporting these platforms, leveraging an established infrastructure-as-code approach to maintain consistency and efficiency. Your role will also involve refining and expanding automation capabilities to streamline the management of the LMS platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient SaaS solutions to align with enterprise architecture.
- Apply SaaS principles such as multi-tenancy and modularity, define customization limits, and guide platform use to ensure performance and maintainability.
Required Skills:
- Experience working with AWS-hosted applications and a strong understanding of networking principles.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as OpenShift, and infrastructure automation frameworks will be highly beneficial.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing cloud-based environments and a proactive approach to implementing modern solutions.
- Ability to adapt and enhance automation tools to meet evolving platform needs will be critical.
