Primary Level Salary Range: $48,400.00 - $80,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is currently seeking a Production Planner 2 to join our Configuration Management Team located in Salt Lake City, UT.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings, manufacturing bills of materials, and related engineering documentation using SAP/MRP/PDM systems (e.g. engineering changes, parts lists and drawings)
- Reference technical instructions and graphics to create and update Assembly Instructions (A.I.) and other related manufacturing build documents
- Work with manufacturing staff, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, and test engineering on processes and A.I. (Assembly Instruction) maintenance
- Collaborate across multi-disciplined teams to meet tight deadlines and support manufacturing builds
- Plan the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to a specific portion of the product for guidance of production workers
- Plan detailed operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other engineering releases
The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.
Basic Qualifications for the Production Planner 2:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with MS Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- U.S. Citizen required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or 2+ years into undergraduate degree program
- Experience working in Broadvision's Quicksilver or other document management software
- Technical writing experience.
- Experience with SAP, MRP, and/or PDM
