Description: Agile5 Technologies is seeking a high-performing Program Manager to lead the full lifecycle development and implementation of large-scale, complex systems. This role serves as the single point of contact for assigned projects, guiding them from original concept through final implementation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing geographically dispersed technical teams and a deep understanding of cutting-edge cloud systems and microservices development within a SAFe Agile environment.
Program Manager Job Duties:

• Serve as the single point of contact and lead for all aspects of project development and implementation.
• Define project scope and objectives while interfacing with end users, computer services, and client services.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and comprehensive status reports.
• Conduct project meetings and maintain rigorous project tracking and analysis.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and perform final reviews of all project deliverables.
• Manage the integration of vendor tasks, including the tracking and review of vendor-supplied deliverables.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams, recommending solutions for complex problems.
• Direct the analysis and resolution of issues across multiple large and complex systems.
• Manage large-scale programs (50+ FTE) focused on microservice development in a cloud environment.
• Maintain regular presence and travel between Winchester, VA and Washington, DC work locations.

Security Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret w/SCI (TS/SCI) Clearance required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.

Experience Requirements :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large teams of 20+ employees.
• Proven experience managing a large-scale program of 50+ FTEs.
• Extensive experience managing geographically dispersed and/or remotely located technical teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading cutting-edge development and DevOps teams.
• Proven ability to manage tasks of significant size and scope within cloud-based systems.

Education Requirements : Current SAFe Agilist (SA) Certification is required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Desired Skills / Qualifications :

• In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native development.
• Strong proficiency in managing hybrid (telework/onsite) team structures.
• Advanced leadership skills with the ability to stay current on evolving technology trends.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for high-level stakeholder and vendor management.

Location : Winchester, VA or Washington, DC

Status : Full time

Schedule : Day shift, Monday-Friday

Physical Requirements : Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
