Duties
Help
  • You will perform training development functions in the assigned subject matter and assists with development of general aviation technical training courses and lessons.
  • You will instruct on the theory, operation, function, troubleshooting procedures, checks and adjustments, maintenance and repair of aircraft pneudraulic systems, components, tools and equipment used for repair of aviation aircraft and components.
  • You will make modifications to adapt material to students, ensure the total time, training devices used, and topics are in accordance with approved POIs and lesson plans.
  • You will use prescribed texts, student outlines, advance sheets, worksheets, technical and field manuals schematics, logic diagrams, and miscellaneous publications in preparation and conduct of the instruction
  • You will perform preventive maintenance as required on assigned equipment.

I have the ability to independently perform the most difficult and complex tasks as an expert or have been consulted by other employees in difficult situations performing duties including: 1) Overhaul, repair, modify, assemble, adjust and test complex aircraft accessories relating to hydraulic, pneudraulic, pneudraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems; 2) Troubleshoot and perform functional and operational checks on same; 3) Disassemble, examine, route for process, assemble, modify assigned hydraulic, pneudraulic, pneumatic and electrical accessories; 4) Order and replace prescribed parts, check dimensions and tolerances of parts to determine the serviceability, making corrections as necessary; 5) Able to deal with and provide quality training to personnel of various levels and communicate with personnel and support groups in the day-to-day operations of this shop; 6) Perfom effectively in pressure and stressful situations; 7) Works in the Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic Trade and leads Pneudraulic Systems Mechanics and/or Pneudraulic Systems Workers at any given time.
