Blu Omega is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our collaborative engineering group. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and services supporting mission-critical workloads.
You will partner with platform, security, data, and application teams to implement reliable cloud solutions, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with enterprise and federal requirements. This position is ideal for an engineer who can balance hands-on technical execution with cross-team collaboration and is comfortable owning cloud infrastructure across the full lifecycle-from architecture through operations.

This position is ideal for an engineer who can balance hands-on technical execution with cross-team collaboration and is comfortable owning cloud infrastructure across the full lifecycle-from architecture through operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure services
- Build and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Design, implement, and support Azure API Management solutions and integrations
- Implement secure networking, identity, and access controls aligned with organizational policy
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform deployments using GitHub Actions
- Monitor platform health, performance, and cost; optimize for reliability and efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex cloud and hybrid environment issues and drive root-cause resolution
- Collaborate with security teams on hardening, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, designing and supporting Azure environments for compute, storage, networking, and IAM
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Experience with Azure API Management for API design, policy configuration, and lifecycle operations
- Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting production issues in distributed cloud environments
- Experience with scripting or development using Python or Java to support automation and integration
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity, and access management
- Possession of strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to support on-site work in Atlanta, GA
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
- Bachelor's degree
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AWS services and multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration, policy-as-code frameworks, and zero-trust or governance architectures
- Experience with Azure AI Services and integrating emerging AI capabilities into cloud solutions
- Experience in federal, public health, or other regulated environments requiring compliance and security rigor
- Experience with mentoring junior engineers, leading technical initiatives, or contributing to cross-team engineering standards
- Experience with front-end development or full-stack collaboration in support of cloud-based applications
- Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or AWS Solutions Architect Certification(s)
Salary Range: $150K - $160K
