This role will formulate system designs to align with overall business strategies while leveraging expertise in business process reengineering, technology applications, and industry-standard methodologies to enhance organizational effectiveness.

The Work
The Business Analyst II is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. This role will formulate system designs to align with overall business strategies while leveraging expertise in business process reengineering, technology applications, and industry-standard methodologies to enhance organizational effectiveness.
This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams on a technology migration project to define the scope, map data, translate business rules to technical specs, manage stakeholder expectations, and validate that data and functionality are correctly transferred/migrated, ensuring minimal business disruption and maximum data integrity.
- Identify, define, and document business and technical requirements for moving from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Analyze data sources, identify data fields to be migrated, and map data from source to target systems.
- Document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) business processes.
- Identify gaps between legacy functionality/data and the new system, proposing solutions for data cleansing or process adjustments.
- Define test cases, validate data consistency, and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify successful migration.
- Facilitate workshops, communicate progress, and manage risks with business users and technical teams.
- Create user manuals, functional specs, and support training materials for the new system.

Qualifications
Here's What You Need
- 7 years of experience in requirements gathering and testing of web-based applications.
- 5 years of experience in performing data analysis from databases using SQLs.
- 5 years of experience in creating mock-ups for user interfaces.
- 5 years of experience creating requirement traceability matrix.
- 5 years of experience writing test cases and test scripts.
- 5 years of experience in testing batch jobs and web services.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Minimum Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of working on projects following Agile Development Methodologies.

Working Conditions
