Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced NSX / ATP Architect with strong Cisco ACI expertise to lead enterprise customers through the transition from Cisco ACI to VMware VCF Networking (NSX-based architecture). In this client-facing role, you will serve as the architectural lead, designing and executing migration strategies while ensuring secure, scalable, and operationally efficient network transformations.

This role requires prior hands-on experience guiding customers through similar ACI-to-NSX or ACI-to-VCF Networking transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of NSX and Advanced Threat Prevention (ATP) solutions within VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
  
  
• Assess existing Cisco ACI environments and develop detailed migration strategies to VCF Networking (NSX).
  
  
• Design micro-segmentation, distributed firewall, and advanced security architectures aligned with enterprise requirements.
  
  
• Provide architectural oversight for migration execution, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized performance.
  
  
• Deliver best practices for lifecycle management, scalability, and operational readiness post-migration.
  
  
• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, operating seamlessly within their brand and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience architecting and implementing NSX solutions in enterprise environments.
  
  
• Strong background in Cisco ACI architecture, operations, and policy models.
  
  
• Demonstrated experience leading ACI to NSX / VCF Networking migrations for prior customers.
  
  
• Deep understanding of software-defined networking (SDN), data center networking, and security architecture principles.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with NSX Distributed Firewall, micro-segmentation, and ATP capabilities.
  
  
• Strong consulting and client-facing communication skills with the ability to lead independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware certifications (VCP-NV, VCAP-NV, VCF-related certifications).
  
  
• Experience with VMware Advanced Threat Prevention (ATP) / vDefend.
  
  
• Knowledge of multi-cloud networking and hybrid cloud architectures.
  
  
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code (PowerCLI, Ansible, Terraform).
  
  
• Additional networking certifications (CCNP/CCIE Data Center, etc.).
