The Logistician is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics and supply chain activities that support operational objectives. This role manages inventory control, material planning, transportation coordination, procurement support, and lifecycle logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. The Logistician works cross-functionally with operations, procurement, finance, engineering, and external vendors to maintain supply continuity and optimize performance.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
  • Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including carrier selection and scheduling
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Resolve transportation, customs, or delivery issues as they arise
  • Maintain documentation for domestic and international shipments


Inventory & Material Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment activities
  • Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts
  • Support demand forecasting and material requirements planning (MRP)


Procurement & Vendor Support
  • Coordinate with procurement on purchase orders and vendor performance
  • Track supplier lead times and mitigate potential shortages
  • Support sourcing initiatives and cost reduction efforts


Lifecycle Logistics Support
  • Assist in planning and executing lifecycle sustainment strategies
  • Track asset utilization, maintenance schedules, and equipment status
  • Maintain records for serialized or controlled items


Process Improvement & Reporting
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and fill rate
  • Identify opportunities to streamline logistics workflows
  • Prepare reports for management on logistics performance and risk


Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with audit requirements
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Desired Skills

  • Professional certification (e.g., APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP)

  • Knowledge and experience with imaging x86 and Apple platforms
  • Knowledge and experience with "kitting" systems, both PC and Apple-based systems.

The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $85,000. This range is a good-faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. This range is not a guarantee of salary, as final compensation may also be influenced by contractual requirements and other considerations.
