Position Overview

The SharePoint Systems Administrator supports a Department of Defense enterprise IT program by providing infrastructure services, operations, and maintenance across multiple classified enclaves with remote administration of SharePoint server farms located in centralized data centers. This role operates in a 24/7/365 mission environment supporting enterprise SharePoint services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of SharePoint farms across multiple enclaves of varying classifications.

• Deploy, configure, install, secure, operate, and maintain SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, and SharePoint Online environments.

• Manage SQL clusters supporting SharePoint farms, including patch maintenance for both SQL clusters and SharePoint farms.

• Configure and support PKI authentication, claims-based authentication, and enterprise load balancing solutions such as F5 BigIP or Citrix NetScaler.

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance, version upgrades, capability expansion, and restoration efforts following service degradation or outages.

• Manage SharePoint site collections, permissions, and access to Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.

• Conduct searches and purges of data in support of cybersecurity, legal, compliance, and FOIA requirements.

• Utilize IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow to manage incidents, service requests, and change actions.

• Analyze incident trends, perform root cause analysis, and update Knowledge Articles and Standard Operating Procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience (or Master's degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience, or Doctorate in a technical domain).

• Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT Level II (Intermediate) certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher).

• Extensive experience with SharePoint technologies including SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, and SharePoint Online.

• Experience in both frontend and backend development.

• Experience configuring, installing, securing, and maintaining SharePoint farms.

• Experience managing SQL clusters in support of SharePoint farms.

• Extensive experience with patch maintenance for SharePoint farms.

• Experience with PKI authentication and claims-based authentication.

• Experience utilizing load balancers such as F5 BigIP Load Traffic Manager or Citrix NetScaler.

• Experience managing Microsoft 365/O365 cloud offerings such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.

• Experience with Change Management fundamentals to ensure proper planning, execution, and documentation of changes to the environment.

• Experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 system administration, troubleshooting issues in a growing enterprise environment, and conducting reviews, incident analysis, and identification of issue trends.

• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Nintex, InfoPath, and/or Power BI.

• Experience configuring and managing SPPatchify for patch maintenance of large SharePoint farms.

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or equivalent certification.

Pay Range

$110,000-$125,000

The Ennoble First pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
