Systems Integrator - Senior Readiness Tester

Markon is seeking an experienced Systems Integrator that will be responsible for planning, executing and statusing operational readiness activities for the Virginia Customer. This role requires a Technical Ops certification by the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operational readiness of products before their deployment
  • Execute and support operational testing
  • Working as expert, conducting research and evaluate technical performance of customer products and overall system segments.
  • Provide expertise, foundational knowledge, and comprehensive instruction for new team members and stakeholders
  • Ensure products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.
  • Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements. This includes reviews of test plans/procedures and ensuring requirements verification/validation.
  • Ensure that all equipment, documentation, etc. is complete and available prior to testing start
  • Write test plans
  • Work with the team to ensure testing coverage
  • Review technical documentation (Product guides, Quick Start guides) and identify discrepancies
  • Work with the product team to improve the documentation
  • Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.
  • Work closely with development, test, security, and leadership teams for deliverables
  • Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluate end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.
  • Provide operational input into product development
  • Collect and work with the development teams to resolve any issues found before or during testing
  • Prepare test results briefings
  • Present briefings to management
  • Maintain documentation in Confluence and emails for team
  • Attend product demos
  • Support general meeting facilitation, note taking, and follow-up, etc.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance
  • Customer Technical Operations certification
  • Prior experience and fundamental knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle
  • Product requirements experience
  • Experience in writing test plans
  • Prior product testing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired:
  • Some basic knowledge of RF
  • Previous CONOPS development


Salary Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
