Overview

The CSA (MUSE/AFSERS) will facilitate training of students in the Air Force Intelligence Officer (14N), Geospatial Analyst (1N1A), Targeting Analyst (1N8) and All-Source Intelligence Analyst (1N0), courses utilizing a major Joint Armed Forces Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Simulation and Training System. These courses involve imagery/Full Motion Video (FMV) analysis from simulated UAS sensors. The CSA will configure, operate and maintain the Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE)/Air Force Synthetic Environment for Reconnaissance and Surveillance (AFSERS) workstations in an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) training environment. The CSA for MUSE/AFSERS Operations should have knowledge and experience in Intelligence Operations, Imagery Analysis, and Intelligence Training. The Analyst will develop highly interactive simulation scenarios utilizing Visual Production and Rehearsal Software (ViPRS). The candidate should also have knowledge and experience in supporting Intelligence training to include the use of Modeling and Simulation, specifically the use of visualization simulation systems and preferably experience with MUSE/AFSERS.

Responsibilities

The CSA position requires someone with a positive attitude, who must be proactive in supporting the customers' needs. The Analyst is expected to become an onsite expert in MUSE/AFSERS operations and interact with other contractors supporting MUSE/AFSERS in the 1N1, 1N0, 1N8 and 14N career fields in a professional and productive manner. The Analyst is expected to facilitate the delivery of the best possible training that meets or exceeds Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC) training objectives.

Additionally, the CSA for MUSE/AFSERS Operations is responsible for:
  • Running MUSE/AFSERS simulation software and ViPRS vignettes in support of the Air Force Operation LONE STAR (OLS) CAPSTONE Exercise and the 1N1 Geospatial Analyst Course APEX Exercise.
  • Interact with OLS/APEX Exercise Government, Military, and other Contractor support personnel.
  • Participate in combined planning of course curriculum with other simulation and scenario development support teams, communicating GEOINT & All Source Intelligence expertise as well as visualization expertise for the scenario development process.
  • Provide both MUSE/AFSERS software and hardware support on-site for all MUSE/AFSERS Operations and assist in providing recommendations for system improvements.
  • Work 10-hour shifts during OLS/APEX exercises.


Qualifications

Education, Experience and Required and Desired Skills
  • An Associate's-Level Technical degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of direct relevant experience.
  • Three years' direct Military Intelligence experience required. Imagery/FMV analysis experience preferred.
  • Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) such as Map of the World or Google Earth and SOCET GXP is desired. Knowledge of ViPRS is also preferred.
  • Current TS/SCI Clearance based on a current SSBI

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
